Crux Product Design Achieves EcoVadis Platinum Rating for Sustainability
Crux has achieved a Platinum rating from EcoVadis, a distinction reserved for the top 1% of companies assessed worldwide.
This recognition positions Crux as a leading engineering consultancy in sustainability, reflecting the depth of work across the business to embed responsible practice into the way we design and engineer products for pharmaceutical, medical device, surgical and consumer markets.
EcoVadis is a globally recognised provider of sustainability assessments, with more than 150,000 companies evaluated against 21 issues covering environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The assessment examines how sustainability is embedded into governance, operations, and supply chains. Achieving a Platinum rating underlines the significance of this result within a rigorous global benchmark.
Clients are increasingly factoring sustainability into product design decisions, regulatory planning, and long‑term strategy. For Crux, responsible practice forms part of quality management and risk reduction. It shapes internal decision‑making and the guidance provided to clients navigating complex development programmes.
David Williams, Head of Quality & Regulatory at Crux, reflects:
“This recognition reflects the way sustainability is embedded within our quality systems and everyday processes. It represents the collective effort of our teams and a shared commitment to building responsible practices into the way we operate as a business.”
The Platinum rating marks a significant step for Crux. It offers clients confidence that sustainability is approached with clear structure, discipline, and measurable standards. The focus now is on continued progress and supporting responsible product development across all sectors the company serves.
